This stunning girl is a real show stopper. She has beautiful conformation: great front, excellent rear, gorgeous face. Although she looks nearly white, she's a true cream. She's approximately 23" at the withers and weighs about 38 pounds. She is high drive and very biddable. A well-rounded poodle, she's actively training in numerous dog sports as well as competing in the conformation ring.

Mia is a spunky, energetic girl who's always attached to my side and up for any challenge I may throw at her. This girl is everything you expect in a poodle and more! Not only is she a stunner with excellent conformation, but she is full of personality. She's a little super star, and she knows it! Not just a beauty, this girl is all brains and craves intellectual engagement too. She is quite biddable and easy to train. She is eager to please and always up for learning something new. The day after we got her home at 8 weeks old, she was ready to show off by learning to sit, down, stand, stay, and come all in one day. And that was just the beginning. Her focus and problem-solving enable her to learn new tricks and tasks in a matter of minutes. But, she gets bored easily. So, I always need to mix it up for her and work on new things to keep her mind active and engaged. We've spent time working on many different tricks and earning multiple trick dog titles. And, I like to keep her busy training in rally and agility.
Mia has earned a total of 13 titles so far: (1) CA; (2) BCAT; (3) CGC; (4) CGCA; (5) TKN; (6) TKI; (7) TKA; (8) TKP; (9) ATT; (10) VHMA; (11) VSWB; (12) FITB; (13) FITS. And, she has earned 8 points towards her AKC Championship.
A natural retriever, fetch is Mia's favorite game. Ever determined to play, Mia has learned to "throw" her toys at people to get them to play with her. And day or night makes no difference to Mia. Many times I've woken up in the middle of the night, in a groggy state, only to realize I'm surrounded by half a dozen toys that Mia has thrown at me and to look around to see her smiling face and eagerly wagging tail waiting for me to throw one for her.
Mia stunned at the Tampa June 2021 show. She held her own day after day, while owner-handled, with over 60 entries each day. One of the days she went reserve winners bitch in a 5 point major under judge Mrs. Barbara Dempsey Alderman in an impressive lineup over over 30 class bitches.
Mia had an excellent showing at the 2022 Tallahassee Dog show. She showed in six shows in five days, taking winners bitch and reserve winners. Mia also had the opportunity to try FastCAT. After one practice "fun run" she caught on and had an awesome first qualifying run the next day---running over 23mph! We look forward to continuing to explore more lure coursing opportunities with Mia in the future.
Mia had a great time at the 2022 Montgomery, AL show. We showed all three days. The first two days she was reserve winners. And on the final day, she went winners bitch and best of variety under judge Mr. Charles Olvis.
While in Montgomery, we had time to fit in a couple FastCAT runs. Mia ended up earning her BCAT title while there. She ran her fastest time yet, clocking in at under 8 seconds (7.977!), which is 25.6418 mph.
Mia showed beautifully at the 2022 Winter Wonderland Cluster in Perry, Ga. She had several nice placements in her class. We also had time to get out to the lure coursing. Mia ran a coursing ability test for the first time and took to it immediately. She earned her CA title at the show. Mia also passed two temperament tests, earning her ATT title while at this show.
Mia had a successful weekend in Miami at the South Dade Kennel Club Dog Show.
